Backpacking = hostels, crappy showers, and sometimes, a lot of alone time.
Every once in a while Nick comes to where I am - last week Bangkok, this week Phuket - and we get to spend a wonderful 2 days together. It's especially grand when it's in a place as wonderful as Phuket, Thailand.

There was a dock at the Amari resort (you can see it in the background in the above pic) and it was fun to jump from and swim around. Bummed we didn't bring snorkels- a lot of tropical fish in that area!
