Air Asia to Australia

Air Asia sucks because their customer service and website are both awful. That said, they have cheap flights to Australia.

Our itinerary included an 8hr layover in Kuala Lumpur. I found it ridiculous that the guys both HAD to get SIM cards ... For an 8hr layover.

Oh Malaysia. Your questionable hygiene practices always crack me up.

Also, Malaysia flight 370- missing for a month now- included crap handling by the Malaysia government and also realization that two passengers got on the flight with stolen passports. This means that we had to go through FOUR security checkpoints between check-in and boarding the flight, including a weird interview by Malaysian military officers about where we were from, where we were going, etc. 

Being Western / American really pays off in these scenarios, though; they were much more suspicious of the other Malay / Asian people boarding the flight.

Sigh, airport security.
