Tamarinds

Grocery shopping every week I typically buy Western foods, which are double what they cost back home. I figured I needed to be more adventurous in my food purchases so today I bought tamarinds. If you've never had a tamarind it's a tart chewy 'fruit' with pits and a hard shell.

Weird and delicious - especially if you find the cheap Mexican sodas that are tamarind flavored. That stuff is delicious.
